I’m Bailey. Wife. Mother. Sarcasm-enthusiast. Professional Picture-Taker.
It all started when…
I picked up my first camera. It was a film camera back in high school. Before social media ruled the world. Nobody saw my images but me. But I loved how they made me feel.
I took photos constantly and crafted intricate hand-made memory book photo albums. Soon they piled up.
When it came time to go to college and choose a major, I chose advertising. In my mind, this was a glamorous career full of sets, models, photoshoots, image selection and creative work. Boy, was I wrong.
in 2016, after working at a corporate Advertising agency and feeling creatively unfulfilled, my husband (then boyfriend) encouraged me to turn my passion for taking photos into a profession. Though predictability + stability is usually the course of action I take, my gut told me this was my true path. In August 2016, Aisles + Ivy was born.
All grown up and with a family of my own now, I still make yearly photo albums. 7 years married, and I haven't missed a single year. Seeing my husband, and now kids, gush over the photos of their favorite memories after flipping through each page reminds me why doing this work is so special and purposeful.

My Reasons Why: My Family
In 2017 I married my French Canadian husband, Cody. Yes, he speaks French. And even after nearly a decade of hearing him speak it from day to day I still don’t understand a lick of it! Before kids and pandemic times we traveled the world for a bit and visited 7 European countries working our way down from Norway. If you were to ask us where our “happy place” is it would probably either be somewhere in The Blue Ridge Mountains or the Bahamas.
In 2018, we welcomed our first daughter, Kayla. Affectionately known as Keke, Keeks, and Kay Kay.
And in 2022, our second daughter Kendra (aka Kenny) was born.
We are big animal lovers and have had 3 dogs and recently added 3 chickens into the mix.
These are my people and the reason why documenting important milestones means so much to me!
